Removing the hardtop panels

• Front panels: You can remove just the two front panels yourself. 
  • Fold down the sun visors and unlatch the panels from the headliner. 
  • Unlock the three L-shaped latches on each panel. 
  • Lift the panels off and store them in the provided bag. 
• Center panel (4-door): On a 4-door model, you can also remove the rear section of the hardtop, which covers the rear seats. 
  • Unlatch the center panel from the headliner and unlock the latches on each side. 
  • You will need assistance to lift this section off. 
• Rear panel: To remove the entire rear section of the hardtop:
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors and washer hose for the rear window. 
  • Open the tailgate and lift the window. 
  • Open the rear doors and remove the two screws at the C-pillar and four bolts on each side at the base of the panel. 
  • With a second person, lift the rear panel straight up to remove it. 
• Soft top: You can also remove the soft top completely. 
  • Lower the visors and release the latches in the headliner. 
  • Push the soft top up and toward the rear of the vehicle.

Does the top come off of all Ford Broncos?

In our case the cart worked better than nothing. It made the removal. Process easier and helped solve the storage. Problem but it also took up a lot of space in our garage.
