What Dodge Chargers are loud?

Dodge Chargers are known for their powerful engines and aggressive styling, and some models are particularly loud and attention-grabbing. Whether it's the roar of a high-performance V8 engine or the rumble of a modified exhaust system, certain Dodge Chargers stand out for their distinctive and unapologetic sound.

Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat

The Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat is one of the loudest Chargers on the market. Powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces 707 horsepower, the Hellcat's engine note is a deep, guttural roar that can be heard from blocks away. The Hellcat's high-performance exhaust system is designed to amplify this sound, making it one of the most distinctive and attention-grabbing Chargers on the road.

Dodge Charger Scat Pack

Another loud Charger model is the Dodge Charger Scat Pack, which features a 392-cubic-inch (6.4-liter) V8 engine that produces 485 horsepower. The Scat Pack's exhaust system is tuned to deliver a throaty, muscular sound that is sure to turn heads.

Dodge Charger R/T

Even the more affordable Dodge Charger R/T model can be quite loud, thanks to its standard 5.7-liter V8 engine and available performance exhaust upgrades. While not as powerful as the Hellcat or Scat Pack, the R/T's engine and exhaust note still provide a satisfying and attention-grabbing sound.

Modifying for More Noise

In addition to the factory-equipped loud Charger models, many owners choose to further modify their vehicles to increase the volume and intensity of the engine and exhaust sound. Common modifications include high-flow air intakes, performance exhaust systems, and even engine tuning to extract more power and noise.

Whether it's the raw power of the Hellcat, the muscular rumble of the Scat Pack, or the throaty growl of the R/T, Dodge Chargers are known for their distinctive and attention-grabbing sound. For those who love the thrill of a loud, powerful car, the Dodge Charger offers a range of options to satisfy their need for noise.
