Do new Fords come with free oil changes?

Yes, new Ford vehicles typically come with complimentary oil changes for a limited period of time as part of the manufacturer's warranty coverage. This is a common perk offered by many automakers to help maintain the vehicle and provide added value to the customer.

Complimentary Oil Changes for New Ford Vehicles

When you purchase a new Ford car, truck, or SUV, the vehicle will generally include a manufacturer's warranty that covers various maintenance items, including free oil changes, for a specified duration. The exact details of the oil change coverage can vary depending on the Ford model and the specific warranty terms, but it is a standard feature across the Ford lineup.

The complimentary oil change coverage is typically valid for a certain number of years or miles, whichever comes first. For example, the Ford New Vehicle Limited Warranty may include free oil changes for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles of ownership. This means that during that time period, you can take your new Ford to a Ford dealership or authorized service center and have the oil changed at no additional cost to you.

Benefits of Complimentary Oil Changes

  • Maintenance Cost Savings: The free oil changes can save you money on routine maintenance, as the cost of oil changes can add up over time.

  • Convenience: You don't have to worry about scheduling and paying for oil changes during the warranty period, as Ford will handle it for you.

  • Warranty Compliance: Keeping up with the recommended oil change schedule is important to maintain your Ford's warranty coverage. The complimentary oil changes help ensure you stay on top of this maintenance requirement.

  • Vehicle Longevity: Regular oil changes are crucial for the long-term health and performance of your vehicle's engine. The free oil changes can help extend the life of your Ford.

It's important to note that the complimentary oil change coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the Ford New Vehicle Limited Warranty, so be sure to review the details carefully and follow the recommended maintenance schedule to take full advantage of this benefit.

Many new cars come with the first 2-3 years of oil changes and tire rotations for free. It's to get you in the habit of going there.
