Is Venza V6 or V4?

The Toyota Venza is available with either a V6 or a V4 engine. The specific engine configuration depends on the model year and trim level of the Venza.

Venza Engine Options

The Toyota Venza was first introduced in 2008 as a 2009 model year vehicle. During its initial production run from 2009 to 2015, the Venza was offered with two engine options:

  • 2.7L 4-cylinder (V4) engine - Producing 182 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque.

  • 3.5L V6 engine - Producing 268 horsepower and 246 lb-ft of torque.

When the Venza was reintroduced for the 2021 model year, Toyota only offered a single engine option - a 2.5L 4-cylinder (V4) hybrid powertrain. This hybrid V4 engine produces a combined 219 horsepower.

Choosing Between V4 and V6 Venza Models

The choice between a V4 or V6 Venza model primarily comes down to performance and fuel efficiency preferences. The V6 engine provides more power and acceleration, while the V4 offers better fuel economy. Ultimately, both engine options provide a comfortable and capable driving experience in the Venza crossover.

Consumers should test drive both versions to determine which engine best suits their driving needs and preferences.
