What does a Toyota full service include?

A Toyota full service, also known as a comprehensive service, is a thorough maintenance check-up performed on your Toyota vehicle to ensure it is running at its best. This service typically includes a wide range of inspections and replacements to keep your car in top condition.

Key Components of a Toyota Full Service

A Toyota full service generally includes the following key components:

  • Oil and Filter Change: The engine oil and oil filter are replaced to ensure proper lubrication and engine performance.

  • Fluid Top-Ups: The levels of various fluids, such as brake fluid, power steering fluid, and transmission fluid, are checked and topped up as needed.

  • Tire Rotation and Inspection: The tires are rotated to ensure even wear, and the tread depth and tire pressure are checked.

  • Brake System Inspection: The brake pads, discs, and calipers are inspected for wear and proper functioning.

  • Suspension and Steering Check: The suspension components and steering system are inspected for any issues or wear and tear.

  • Electrical System Inspection: The battery, alternator, and other electrical components are checked to ensure they are working correctly.

  • Exterior and Interior Inspection: The vehicle's exterior and interior are inspected for any damage or issues that need attention.

The specific items included in a Toyota full service may vary slightly depending on the model and year of your vehicle, as well as the recommendations from the manufacturer.

Benefits of a Toyota Full Service

Regularly performing a Toyota full service offers several benefits, including:

  • Improved Fuel Efficiency: Properly maintained components, such as the engine oil and air filters, can help improve your vehicle's fuel efficiency.

  • Longer Vehicle Lifespan: Addressing any issues or wear and tear during the full service can help extend the overall lifespan of your Toyota vehicle.

  • Enhanced Safety: Inspecting and maintaining critical systems like the brakes and suspension ensures your vehicle remains safe to drive.

  • Increased Resale Value: A well-maintained Toyota with a comprehensive service history can command a higher resale value when you decide to sell or trade it in.

By regularly scheduling a Toyota full service, you can help ensure your vehicle continues to perform at its best and maintain its value over time.

Can I get my free oil change at any Toyota?

You can use any Toyota dealer if that is more convenient. You do get 2 free oil changes (and a few tire rotation) in the USA. On my second oil change, they also gave me a free alignment check. It's not required for the warranty, you have the right to do your own maintenance.
