Which Hondas still have LaneWatch?

Very few, if any, current Hondas offer LaneWatch. Honda has largely replaced the feature with traditional blind-spot monitoring systems, and as of 2025 LaneWatch is not listed as an option on new models. If you want LaneWatch, you’d be looking at older used Hondas that shipped with the system.

What LaneWatch is and how it works

LaneWatch is Honda's camera-based blind-spot display system. On supported models, a camera in the passenger-side mirror activates and feeds a live wide-angle view of the adjacent lane to the center console display. This helps drivers monitor the passenger-side blind spot during lane changes and merges. The video feed typically appears when the signal is activated or at certain speeds, depending on the model and year.

How it differs from standard blind-spot information systems

LaneWatch provides a video feed rather than just indicator lights. It relies on a camera instead of radar-based sensors and often appears on the main infotainment screen rather than a small side-mirror indicator. Availability and activation behavior can vary by model year and trim.

The models that historically offered LaneWatch

The following Honda models have historically offered LaneWatch in at least some trims or generations. Availability varied by year, trim level, and market.

  • Civic

  • Accord

  • CR-V

  • HR-V

  • Pilot

  • Odyssey

  • Ridgeline

Note: LaneWatch availability was not universal across all trims or regions, and Honda has largely phased the feature out of its current lineup in favor of conventional blind-spot monitoring.

Current status and what to expect in 2025

As of 2025, none of Honda's current models list LaneWatch as an option. The company widely uses a radar-based Blind Spot Information System (BSI) that appears in the side mirrors or instrument cluster, without the passenger-side video feed LaneWatch offered in earlier years. If you want LaneWatch specifically, you would be looking at used Honda models from the mid-2010s to late-2010s that shipped with the system.

Summary

LaneWatch was a distinctive feature offering a live video view of the passenger-side blind spot. Honda has largely discontinued it in favor of traditional blind-spot monitoring across its current lineup. For buyers in 2025, LaneWatch is not available on new Hondas, with the feature mainly found on older used models.

How do I know if my Honda LDW is activated?

A green indicator light appears on the button when the system is on. LDW may not activate under certain conditions.
